Van had just finished getting his Pokemon restored to full health when a man approached him. He said no words. Instead he handed Van a sealed envelope and stood silent as he watched Van open it. The trainer quickly scanned the latter with interest. He had to admit to himself, the prospect of a party intrigued him, but he didn't recognize the address of the sender or the sender him/herself.

"Wha--" He had begun to ask. The man who had handed him the letter quickly cut him off and asked him to fill out the form. Van hadn't seen any form, but as he looked back, he could see a second piece of paper. He removed the second piece from behind the first and began reading it, silently staring at the paper for several seconds before getting a pen out. Was this supposed to be some weird, late Valentine's party or something?

He took the time to fill it out, quickly circling the answers that suited him best. The last question mystified him though. Yes or no to what? He shrugged and circled his answer. He could always decline later if he didn't like what he heard or saw. He didn't have time to ask the man what the party was for before the man snatched the form from his hand and left. The excitement he had felt towards attending a party were quickly dashed, replaced by intrigue and a little but of suspicion.

Apparently, he wouldn't be the only one attending this mysterious gala. He picked up the card that fell from the invitation, peering at it with his bright teal-blue eyes. There were so many unanswered questions, yet he couldn't help but want to fill out the tiny form, almost as if something was compelling him to fill it out. Unable to resist the temptation, he picked up a pen and filled out the card...
