 A brand new region has become the new focus on the world scene. Trainers are flocking to the Jiyuu Region, expecting their journeys to end up being unforgettable. From modern cities to rustic villages, Jiyuu has all that anyone could ask for. The new league, dubbed the Tengai League, has spread out eight varying gyms throughout its countryside. Each gym holds new surprises and several different Pokemon, each one readily equipped with strong Pokemon that offers a great challenge to whoever wants to take it on.
The Jiyuu region has all Pokemon that have been discovered residing in its borders, along with several islands that have some of their own surprises. From deserts to tropical forests, Pokemon can be found anywhere. Each trainer that arrives at the starting town is granted with one Pokemon from the selection given. Whether the trainer is from another region, or home grown in Jiyuu, they will be promised a few things.
Firstly, a starting Pokemon that will help them begin their journey. Secondly, tools that will make the journey easier and give you knowledge. Thirdly, a trainer is promised interactions with other trainers, allowing friendships, or rivalries, that could last a life time.
There are some things that aren't so welcomed in this region, though. There is an organization of poachers and thieves who have banned together to capture or steal Pokemon and sell them to the highest bidders. They are always out trying to make money, whether it be plotting a takeover of some major building or a hunt in the woods to capture all Pokemon they see. Will you join them or help the fight against them? It's your decision.
